The Summary Nintex empowers organizations, including government agencies, enterprises, and military operations, with tools to automate complex workflows without writing code. Their platform stands out for its scalability, security, and ease of integration across cloud environments. #### • Team size 2 Specialists #### • Team 1 Backend Engineer • 1 Frontend Engineer #### • Relationship 4 years ![Ninetex](https://www.genium.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Ninetex.png?width=244&height=64&name=Ninetex.png) Nintex is a global leader in no-code workflow automation, providing organizations with powerful tools to streamline complex processes without writing code. Trusted by enterprises, government agencies, and military operations, Nintex stands out for its secure, scalable platform that integrates seamlessly across cloud environments. As demand for automation grows, Nintex continues to evolve its technology to support high-performance, enterprise-grade workflows at scale. ## The Challenge Nintex needed a more robust backend to support increasingly complex, high-performance workflows without compromising user experience or platform responsiveness. As their platform became more cloud-reliant, infrastructure costs began to climb, and performance bottlenecks emerged. ##### They turned to Genium to strengthen backend performance, improve scalability, and reduce operational costs, without disrupting ongoing services. ![02](https://www.genium.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Images/Solutions/02.jpg?width=1884&height=1257&name=02.jpg) ![Frame 39647](https://www.genium.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Frame%2039647.png?width=500&height=501&name=Frame%2039647.png) ![Closeup photoreal image of a highend cybersecurity control room Multiple large screens showing blurred dashboards charts or secure system data Screens glow with white and blue light Dark environment with reflections and tech textures No people Style](https://www.genium.com/hs-fs/hubfs/AI-Generated%20Media/Images/Closeup%20photoreal%20image%20of%20a%20highend%20cybersecurity%20control%20room%20Multiple%20large%20screens%20showing%20blurred%20dashboards%20charts%20or%20secure%20system%20data%20Screens%20glow%20with%20white%20and%20blue%20light%20Dark%20environment%20with%20reflections%20and%20tech%20textures%20No%20people%20Style.jpeg?width=1024&height=1024&name=Closeup%20photoreal%20image%20of%20a%20highend%20cybersecurity%20control%20room%20Multiple%20large%20screens%20showing%20blurred%20dashboards%20charts%20or%20secure%20system%20data%20Screens%20glow%20with%20white%20and%20blue%20light%20Dark%20environment%20with%20reflections%20and%20tech%20textures%20No%20people%20Style.jpeg) ![02](https://www.genium.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Images/Solutions/02.jpg?width=1884&height=1257&name=02.jpg) ![Frame 39647](https://www.genium.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Frame%2039647.png?width=500&height=501&name=Frame%2039647.png) ![Closeup photoreal image of a highend cybersecurity control room Multiple large screens showing blurred dashboards charts or secure system data Screens glow with white and blue light Dark environment with reflections and tech textures No people Style](https://www.genium.com/hs-fs/hubfs/AI-Generated%20Media/Images/Closeup%20photoreal%20image%20of%20a%20highend%20cybersecurity%20control%20room%20Multiple%20large%20screens%20showing%20blurred%20dashboards%20charts%20or%20secure%20system%20data%20Screens%20glow%20with%20white%20and%20blue%20light%20Dark%20environment%20with%20reflections%20and%20tech%20textures%20No%20people%20Style.jpeg?width=1024&height=1024&name=Closeup%20photoreal%20image%20of%20a%20highend%20cybersecurity%20control%20room%20Multiple%20large%20screens%20showing%20blurred%20dashboards%20charts%20or%20secure%20system%20data%20Screens%20glow%20with%20white%20and%20blue%20light%20Dark%20environment%20with%20reflections%20and%20tech%20textures%20No%20people%20Style.jpeg) ![2 Specialists ](https://www.genium.com/hs-fs/hubfs/2%20Specialists%20.png?width=2304&height=1728&name=2%20Specialists%20.png) ## The solution Genium embedded a compact, high-impact team into Nintex’s development flow. Together, we: Refactored backend infrastructure with Go and NodeJS to eliminate bottlenecks. Optimized AWS usage with auto-scaling, right-sized instances, and S3 improvements. Upgraded frontend security and monitoring with JWT and Datadog.Improved database handling for clean, scalable import/export operations. ## All technologies used Swift Java React Go Python AWS ## Results #### Increased platform reliability Improving overall platform stability by aligning with ServiceNow’s industry standard and reducing custom scripting. #### Faster delivery times The introduction of low-code solutions and workflow automation significantly improved development speed. #### Enhanced development quiality Cleaner, streamlined development processes resulted in a better quality and fewer bug reports. #### Closer adherence to ServiceNow standards the platform is now better aligned with ServiceNow’s recommended best practices, ensuring future scalability and maintainability. #### You bring the vision.
